Al Tizon, PhD, through his latest book, Christ Among the Classes, addresses economic injustice from a biblical perspective, and the implications for the mission of the Church in the world. Tizon will be in conversation with Nikki Toyama-Szeto, who carries on the work of the late Dr. Ron Sider, author of Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger.

ABOUT AL TIZON
Al Tizon served as executive minister of Serve Globally, the international ministries of the Evangelical Covenant Church and before that, the co-president of Christians for Social Action (formerly Evangelicals for Social Action), an activist think tank that combines holistic ministry, public policy, and scholarship. He currently serves as the lead pastor for Grace Fellowship Community Church, a Cumberland Presbyterian congregation in San Francisco, CA.
ABOUT NIKKI TOYAMA-SZETO
Nikki Toyama-Szeto served at both International Justice Mission and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, where she worked for many years as the program director for Urbana Missions Conference. She is the author of several books, including God of Justice, and More Than Serving Tea: Asian American Women on Expectations, Relationships, Leadership and Faith. She currently serves as Executive Director of Christians for Social Action.
