Soul-Mending: Healing into Wholeness / Book Launch

This event will introduce pastors, ministry leaders, and others who seek restoration to Soul Mending: Healing into Wholeness, Julia Pferdehirt's book on understanding hurt, harm, and trauma, and how to apply solid counseling tools to change fear- and trauma-driven ways of thinking and acting. The book encourages one to meet Jesus through “Immanuel Prayer” to receive deep healing of the broken places in our souls that undermine and confuse our thoughts, decisions, emotions, and identities.

The book will be discussed by an experienced panel of spiritual practitioners consisting of: Bonnie Bjerre, Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church, Paul Conti, spiritual director, Malia McKinney, Reality SF, Tim Svoboda, Youth with a Mission San Francisco (YWAM-SF). Naisa Wong, spiritual director, will moderate the conversation and an audience Q&A. Soul Mending will be available for purchase.
